Microsoft Business Solutions–Navision has been chosen by the industry publication VARBusiness to receive a VARBusiness Tech Innovator of the Year award for 2005. The awards are based on a broad survey of the IT industry, focusing on innovation and development.

According to VARBusiness, in the SMB software category, Microsoft Navision 4.0 won for its fully customizable business-management solution that integrates critical financial, manufacturing, distribution, customer management, supply chain, analytics, and e-commerce data into one streamlined package. In particular, Microsoft Navision was selected for its ability to integrate and its built-in tools that help partners and companies optimize solutions to business processes. The VARBusiness Tech Innovators survey is the means by which channel partners assess the technical innovation and development efforts of vendors.
